racy Armstrong Robbins (Founder, Directress)

began her Montessori traning in 1993 at Montessori Training Center Associated (MECA-Seton). That fall she began her practicum at the Montessori Children's House in Cicero. She continued there for four years. She then worked at MECA-Seton for two years (Montessori of Hinsdale and Seton Montessori in Clarendon Hills). Then finally fulfilling her dream, she went on to found Elmhurst Montessori - The Children's House. During this time she also saw a great need within the city of Chicago, and began plans to relocate. With Tracy 's experience and knowledge was the birth of Montessori de la Citta (Montessori of the City).
